so i have this thing where i love lily chen and her friendship with alec. i love the weird little downworlder mafia coalition that they've made with maia and magnus and i want to write all of the fan fiction about alec and lily being cantankerous besties.

naturally, when i initially started scribbling my "alec gets blazed on faerie fruit" fill for trope_bingo, there was significantly more lily chen. after some reflection and a little bit of outside advice, i wound up going in a different direction, but i still kind of like the lily-fied intro, and i thought someone else might like it too, so.
